Freeze your youth in time at ICE Sculpting Clinics

Dermal fillers and injectables are used to smooth and boost volume in the skin. ICE Sculpting Clinic uses dermal fillers and injectables on men and women who want to diminish fine lines, wrinkles, and other signs of aging.

What are Dermal Fillers and Injectables?

Dermal fillers and injectables are gel-like substances that smooth wrinkles, fine lines, and other signs of aging when injected into the targeted area. They also increase collagen production and the elasticity of aging skin. Men and women consider dermal filler and injectables when they want to correct minor skin imperfections without undergoing invasive surgeries that require downtime or recovery periods.

Injectable skin treatments are one of the most effective, non-surgical skin rejuvenation options available, and helped clients delay the onset of future visible signs of aging without the need for scalpels, anesthesia, or any post-treatment downtime. ICE Sculpting Clinic offers different types of injectables to choose from which gives each client a completely personalised treatment plan.

What areas can I treat?

The three main regions for facial filler injections are:

  • The upper face (around the forehead and eyes)
  • The midface region (the cheeks and around the eyes)
  • The lower face (around and in the lips, and along the jaw.

Are there any side effects after having Dermal Fillers?

The most common side effects occur within 24 hours or immediately post treatment. These can include; swelling, bruising, redness and tenderness. Immediate side effects usually disappear within days. However, depending on the type of dermal filler used, it can take a few weeks. Follow-up consultation is available if you have any concerns.

How long do Dermal Fillers last?

Dermal fillers can last up to 3-6 months and in some cases longer. Lips are a high activity area as we use them all the time, this can impact how long the results will last but approximately 3-4 months.

Do Dermal Fillers hurt?

Dermal Fillers feel like a slight pinch, and you may experience slight pressure or a ‘stinging’ sensation as the product is being injected. Pain tolerance can be dependent on the individual client.

Are lip fillers safe?

Lip fillers should only be performed by qualified medical professionals, our aesthetic nurse Louise has a huge amount of experience in lip fillers. Only CE marked reputable branded filler products are used in treatment, these are packaged in a sealed box and vial, only drawn up into the needle just before the treatment is performed.

How will my lips look and feel after lip filler?

Lip filler results are visible straight away, you may experience some mild swelling and bruising for 1-5 days. You may notice some small lumps are present these will disperse within a day or so. This is completely normal after a cosmetic injectables treatment. A free follow-up consultation is recommended to check the results.

What pre-treatment information do I need to know?

Avoid vigorous physical activity or any large intakes of alcohol for 24 hours as this increases the risk of bruising. Aspirin and Vitamin E should not be taken one week before the treatment.

What aftercare do I need to know?

Depending on the sensitivity of your skin and any medications (like aspirin, ibuprofen, and other blood thinners) there is the small chance of temporary, minor side effects including;

  • Mild swelling at or around the injection site
  • Mild tenderness or bruising at or around the injection site
  • Tiny red dots at the injection site
  • A mild headache, depending on the treatment area
